How It Works

Step 1: You Call (or Email)

Call John at 615-266-6080 or send him an email with a quick description of what is going on. He will ask you a few questions to understand the issue and figure out what needs to happen next. If you are not sure how to describe the problem, that is fine, just tell him what you are seeing and he will ask the right follow-up questions.

Step 2: John Figures Out What Is Needed

John might be able to help over the phone or through remote access, or you might need an in-person visit. Either way, he will tell you clearly what the issue is, what it will take to fix it, and what it will cost. No surprises. No pressure. If it turns out to be more complex than expected, John will call you before doing extra work.

Step 3: Fixed and Done

Once the work is done, John will show you that everything is working and explain what he did and how to avoid the problem in the future. He will also give you his number so you can call if you have questions later.

Where John Works

John serves Nashville and the surrounding areas, including Brentwood, Franklin, Hermitage, Murfreesboro, and more. If you are not sure whether your area is covered, just call and ask. John travels to your home or business for in-person service, or can help you over the phone or through remote access from anywhere.

What It Costs

John charges a reasonable rate for his time, and he is transparent about costs upfront. For many issues, a quick phone call can point you in the right direction at no charge. For in-person or remote sessions, John will give you a clear estimate before getting started. He will also let you know if a job is going to take longer than expected and will check with you before proceeding.

Common Questions

Do I need to back up my computer before you come?

No, you do not need to do anything special before John arrives. If there is a specific problem you are worried about, you can mention it when you call, but John does not expect you to prepare anything. He will take the steps needed to keep your data safe.

Will I lose my files if I have a virus?

Not always. Even if your computer has a virus, your files are usually still there. John can often remove the virus and recover your files. The key is to stop using the computer and call John as soon as you think there is a problem, rather than waiting to see if it goes away.

How long does it take to fix a slow computer?

It depends on what is causing the slowness. Some fixes take an hour or less, while others might take longer. John will give you a realistic estimate after he has looked at your computer. Many slow computers can be fixed with a combination of cleanup, updates, and removing unnecessary programs.

What if I need help but I am not technical at all?

That is exactly who John helps. He does not use jargon unless you ask him to explain it, and he takes time to make sure you understand what is happening and what he fixed. You do not need to be technical. Just be willing to listen and learn.

Can you help me set up my new tablet?

Yes. John can help you set up phones, tablets, computers, and smart home devices. He can transfer your apps, get your email working, show you how to use features you care about, and answer your questions.

Do you offer same-day service?

Often yes. If something is urgent, call John and tell him. He will let you know whether he can fit you in the same day or what the soonest available time is. For data recovery emergencies, call right away, as waiting can make recovery harder.

Will my computer be protected after you leave?

Yes. After fixing an issue, John will make sure you have good antivirus protection, your software is up to date, and you understand how to keep yourself safe going forward. He will also give you tips on what to avoid to prevent the same problem from happening again.

What if I do not feel comfortable with remote access?

That is fine. You can always ask John to come in person instead. Remote sessions use secure connections, and you can watch everything that happens on your screen, so there is nothing going on behind the scenes. But if you prefer in-person help, John is happy to do that.
